EFT was originally developed for American Vietnam War veterans by Gary Craig, a Neuro-Lingustic Programming (NLP) practitioner. The basis of the technique was developed from knowledge of acupuncture, kinesiology and psychology. Later it emerged that this technique could be applied to any unpleasant recollection that can be the root cause of tension.
This technique, combined with Cognitive Hypnotherapy, can successfully treat anxiety and other similar psychological problems, including post traumatic stress disorder. More importantly, it can be easily taught and applied rapidly, so that the sufferer has the tools to help themselves, whenever necessary.
It is a gentle technique that is applied to meridian lines in the body. The benefits can be felt 15 minutes after treatment.
